Lambs for Sale
Onion Creek Sheep Farm has our lambing season once a year.
Our next lambing season is scheduled for June 2025. One of our favorite parts of the business is teaching people of how wonderful sheep are as pets!
General Lamb Information
Next Lambing is scheduled for April 2022
Pet Price: Ram lambs are $175 each. Ewe lambs are $225 each. Animal is sold WITHOUT papers and is altered if male.
Sheep must be bought in pairs unless you have other pet sheep at home.
Bottle raised babies must be picked up between 4 and 6 weeks of age.
Bottle babies come with bottle, formula recipe, and feeding instructions.
All lambs come with a booklet of information needed to care for sheep.
We require a $75 non-refundable deposit to reserve a lamb.
A Unique Pet
Sheep are low maintenance pets that can bring you joy for years. They are gentle companions that bring you outside and back to nature. They also do a great job keeping your lawn trimmed and fertilized.
Sheep Coexist with Dogs & Cats
Dogs have protected sheep for centuries but they might need to be introduced slowly and with supervision. The younger the dog (puppy) the better to introduce them together. Cats are often residents of barns and keep the rodent population down. They love to snuggle when the temperatures drop low.
They Come In Pairs
Sheep are heard animals and it's inhumane to have them live without a sheep buddy. When working with us, just remember that you will need at least two sheep and a minimum of 1 acre of land for them to graze on. This will make happy and healthy sheep.
Get Them Early
We keep our lambs with their moms for approximately four to six weeks after birth. This assures the lamb has had plenty of mom's milk. After that, they will be ready to come home with you.
They Deserve A Good Home!
To be honest, we are picky on who we sell the pet lambs to. There needs to be a safe place for them to graze and relax. Plenty of water, shade, shelter, food and of course, lots of love. Click here to learn more.

The price of the lambs also includes advice on anything sheep. Call, text, or email us if need assistance with your sheep. Having sheep as pets is different than any other pet you have had in the past (In a good way!). We can help you prepare your home for their arrival and will be here to answer any questions you might have for years to come.
